If not specified, we will ship via the most economical way. Prepaid freight doesn’t include any special shipping request.

Shortages or discrepancies between box contents and packing list must be reported to a customer service representative by fax/email/phone within 5 business days of receipt of the product. Debit Memos, deduction notices or hand adjusted invoices will not be accepted without prior authorization from a customer service representative. A $25.00 fee will be charged to your account for non-authorized deductions. Please make every effort to comply with the stated policy to avoid confusion with the accounting department.

It’s the purchaser’s responsibility to thoroughly inspect each shipment immediately upon arrival for damage or shortage prior to signing for the shipment. If box/pallet are received damaged or short it is important that you notify the driver & note it on the delivery receipt before you accept the merchandise. Claims for damaged or lost freight must be made by the customer to the delivering carrier, upon receipt. Damaged goods must be inspected in original carton.

All returns are subject to our written approval and must be accompanied by a “RGA” (return goods authorization) number issued by Aladdin Equipment Co., prior to returning. Goods may be returned for credit, only if in resalable condition, within 30 days of purchase. Non-standard and over stock items are not returnable. Returned goods are subject to inspection and to a 15% restocking fee, which will be deducted from your credit memo. Freight must be prepaid. Returns not reflecting an RGA number will NOT be accepted.

Products are warrantied for 120 days from date of purchase against defects in materials and/or workmanship (see exceptions below). Proof of purchase from Aladdin Equipment Co. must be supplied:

• Plastic baskets are warrantied for 1 year from date of purchase.
• Metal Mesh baskets are warrantied for 90 days from date of purchase.
• Stainless Steel baskets are warrantied for 1 year from date of purchase. (Basket warranty is void if basket shows signs of abuse or improper cleaning. This warranty also excludes the use of the basket in any other application other than swimming pools).
• Aladdin filter cartridges are warrantied for 1 year from date of purchase.

The liability of Aladdin Equipment Co. shall not exceed the replacement or repair of defective part(s) and shall not include transportation to or from factory, field labor and consequential or incidental damages. Defective part(s) should be shipped together with RGA number and part number, transportation prepaid directly to Aladdin Equipment Co. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions my not apply to you.

As part of our Consolidation Program, our 500P model adapts to same lights that fit all 500, 500B, 500C models. Adaptable light rings will fit any metal or hand formed niche from 9-3/4” to 12” solving the problem of trying to repair an obsolete light, or trying to reconstruct a niche to fit a standard light.

Easy installation for all plumbing situations. Make sure top of main housing is 3 ¾” under average water level.

1. Turn off the filter pump and open the air relief valve
2. Open tank lid and remove the filter cartridge
3. Spray the filter cartridge with a hose at a 45 degree angle and move from top to bottom
4. If you choose to use a cartridge cleaning product, this when you would apply or soak the cartridge
5. Once clean, replace the cartridge in the filter tank. Double check lid o-ring/gasket for wear and add Magic Lube® where needed.
6. Close the air relief valve and turn the filter pump back on!

1. Disassemble pump cavity to expose existing seal. Removal of old seal and assembly of new seal requires careful operations and precautions. CAUTION: Lapped and polished faces of new seals are easily scratched and damaged. PROTECT FROM DAMAGE, DIRT, AND FINGERPRINTS.
2. Carefully remove old seal head and seat (note where and how it was installed) taking care not to scratch shaft or seat counterbore.
3. Clean shaft and counterbore surfaces using fine emery cloth or equivalent. Remove rust, burrs and wipe clean.
4. Before installing the new seal be sure to check seal surfaces to insure, they are free of any dirt, grit or lubricants. An alcohol wipe may be used to clean the seal face before final installation.
5. Press seal seat firmly into counterbore, be sure it is bottomed square. SLIDE SEAL HEAD ALONG SHAFT MAKING SURE THE SPRING IS CORRECTLY ENGAGED INTO SEAL.
6. Re-assemble the pump and remember that trouble free operation of a pump includes making a correct seal installation.

Flood the pump with water before starting. NEVER RUN THE PUMP DRY! This damages the seal.

1. Place the O-ring on a clean, flat, level surface.
2. Determine the inside diameter by using a ruler to measure from one inner edge to another.
3. Use a ruler to measure the diameter, from one outer corner of the O-ring to the other outer corner.
4. Finally, measure the cross-section.

Can we send people to the Magic Lube® page?

Magic Lube® is a PTFE (double Teflon) based lubricant/sealant. USDA H-1 rated to be environmentally safe. Can be used in both wet and dry environments with a temperature range from -10 to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. Chemical resistant and compatible with most metals, rubbers, and plastics. It is commonly used on non-moving parts.

Magic Lube® II is a Silicone based lubricant/sealant. Magic Lube® II has been USDA H-1 rated to be environmentally safe and is completely waterproof and chemical resistant. Most commonly used on high friction areas and moving parts such as lid o-rings.

Items required: #3 Phillips head screwdriver, Magic Lube®, new skimmer gasket if needed.

Preparation: New Pools: SkimSaver™ should be installed prior to completely filling your pool with water Existing Pools: Drain pool water just below the skimmer’s opening, 1”-2” before installing.

1. Remove existing skimmer faceplate using a #3 Phillips head screwdriver. Save the screws, you will be using them to reinstall your SkimSaver™ mounting faceplate.
2. Inspect gaskets and replace if necessary.
3. Align gaskets and new SkimSaver™ mounting faceplate against skimmer opening and reinstall existing screws with #3 Phillips head screwdriver. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN.
4. Apply a thin bead of Magic Lube® along the inside lip of the flexible lid to ensure a water tight seal.
5. Now when you are read to deal off your skimmer, simply snap on the lid by pressing firmly around the entire perimeter for appositive seal.

Unscrew the threaded eyeball fitting. Aladdin has an eyeball tool is needed. Use one of our rubber winterizing plugs and turn the top EGNS™ knob to tighten. Our winterizing plugs are made with soft rubber which allows for maximum expansion.

The String Release style works by simply positioning the weir into place and pulling up on the string at each side. The rod springs and locks into place. *DO NOT remove the string out*
